Denver Parade of Homes 2010: Something for Everyone

The Denver Parade of Homes kicks off next week on August 14th through Labor Day.   The Parade of Homes is taking a new approach this year, with intent to offer something to dream about in every price range.

58 homes throughout 21 Front Range Cities can be viewed free of charge.  Prices range from $188,900 to over $6 million dollars.

In addition to touring featured homes, the Parade of Homes is featuring different events including workshops and school supply drives.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in moving to the Front Range area.  You will have the opportunity to get a taste of what the different cities offer, and see the top of the line in new homes.  Or, if you are remodeling your current home, it is a great way to brainstorm.   In fact, some of the workshops include information about energy efficiency and interior painting.

Modern Living

Though the homes are in all different neighborhoods and targeted to all different people, there is a common theme: energy efficiency.  In the more expensive homes, you can find features like radiant flooring, and in the less expensive homes there are skylights for natural lighting.

The homes are truly works of art and designed for the modern family, with open floor plans that are designed to be livable and practical.

The Denver Parade of Homes is produced by the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver, a non profit trade association made up of over 600 Colorado businesses.  Their mission is to meet the housing needs of the Denver Community.
