Maroon Bells is considered by many one of the best places in Aspen to view fall leaves. Some say it is one of the most photographed regions in Colorado. If you wish to view fall leaves in Maroon Bells, there are shuttle buses that leave Aspen regularly on weekends through September, because vehicle access is restricted.
When to View:
The leaves tend to turn earlier in the higher elevations. While it varies from year to year, usually this occurs some time between August through October.
